What is the different between class A tube distortion pedal than just tube distortion pedal?
1) What is the different between class A tube distortion pedal than just tube distortion pedal?
i have seen some tube distortion pedals saying that they are class A like the Damage Control Demonizer
and some normal tube distortion pedal like Duncan Mayhem is not class A?
So i am kinda confused with that, what does Class A mean? does it sound better?
2) So, even if class A matters or not, which one would you say is a better one in term of the sound (to you ears at least)?
3) With a tube distortion pedal and a solid amp, does it sound a little better than solid distortion pedal with solid amp? i play metal
