What does “select spruce” mean on Guitar specs?
On some guitar websites, they mention that they have “select spruce” tops. Is this a solid top? Is it laminate? I think it would be better if they just would say “solid spruce top”, or “laminated spruce top”. Your help is appreciated. Thanks!
It might mean that the wood was inspected for knots. The select wood is the wood that doesn’t have any knots.
