spark plugs light red depsit am I running lean ??
just pulled the plugs out of her 89 mustang GT 5.0 we are have fuel presure trouble for sure very low trying to start then it comes up she said its been realy spitting and sputtering latly
its a fuel injected engine havent had time to code scan it yet. Anyways the question is I just changed the plugs cap rotot and wires. the plugs have a light red NOT tan color to them and I cant find any data on the net yet about this condition. we are going to try and find time next weekend to change the fuel filter and hope to finaly get the fuel pump in a couple of weeks if the fuel presure is still messed up. already changed the fuel presure reg and tried differant injectors anyways ideas on the red plugs its very light not even noticable in dim light but out in the sun it realy shows
I believe it is from a gas additive. It's called a scavenger deposit but supposedly doesn't have much effect on the plugs performance. I recall having this when using Exxon gas during the winter months. Clean the plugs and try using a different brand for a while to see if it persists.

How to Convert AC to DC?
If you want to convert an appliance that runs on electricity to run on battery power, the easiest way to do it is to plug in an AC adapter. If your appliance can’t be plugged into an adapter, you can hard-wire a rectifier directly to that appliance. 1.Open the appliance and expose the electrical wires. The four wires in your appliance will connect to corresponding wires on the rectifier.
2.Connect the output wires. These wires are usually yellow or labeled with the tilde (~). Twist the exposed ends of the wires together and secure with an end cap. There will be two sets of these wires; connect either one in the appliance to either one in the rectifier.
3.Connect the power wires. These wires are usually red and labeled with the plus sign (+). Twist the exposed ends of the wires together and secure with an end cap.
4.Connect the ground wires. These wires are usually black or green and labeled with the negative sign (-). Twist the exposed ends of the wires together and secure with an end cap.
5.Once you’ve connected the power wires, replace the protective cover on the appliance and turn it on.
