Thoughts on the Ovation Ae-36?
I'm about to buy an Ovation Ae-36 in working, fair condition off of someone on Craigslist for $125. All I know about this guitar is that it's deep bowl(roundback), made in the 80s, acoustic-electric and has passive electronics. (which is why I want it) Anyone know anything about or maybe can do some quick research? It's coming to me with a strap, picks and a hardshell case, which is why I think it's a good deal. Any reasons why I shouldn't get it?
You might want to go to a music store and try an Ovation if you've never played one. Some people love them and others (like me) do not. If you like them then the purchase sounds like a good one.
